Katryna Hadley is a textile artist who creates fabric collages, quilts and works on paper. Her current project is Fabric Dreams, a collection of notecards that started as a studio exploration.
"I started Fabric Dreams in the fall of 2013. Every day I create and photograph a 6” square. The images are constructed using fabric – occasionally paper – that is fused or stitched by machine or hand. Each is a meditation, an improvisation in response to color and pattern. Many have an aerial feel or reference nature. I chose pieces that reproduced well in print to create this series of note cards."
